Tim
Kaar is a designer and innovative programmer with solid experience
in helping clients achieve their communication goals.
Tim discovered the cross border possibilities of the Internet while living
and working in Paris early in the 90's. He has since produced or advised
on several bilingual business to consumer sites as well as corporate intranets.
He also created a database for warehousing real time data streams while
a consultant to an international financial services firm. He believes
a designer's mission is to make complex things appear simple and focuses
on end-user comfortabilty while delivering information rich content.
Believing usability is not merely an end-user concern but central to any
website management strategy, Tim has created content management systems
that allow clients to edit time-sensitive content on their websites through
a simple web-based interface, often integrated with a database.
Tim has a Bachelors of Arts from Blackburn College and a Master of Fine
Arts from Northern Illinois University. He currently teaches classes in
web design, Flash, and database-enabled web sites.
