Q: Where is Concrete Cloud located?
A: We have no headquarters, per se. We gather anywhere that is appropriate for the task at hand, whether it's concept building, or working through the Information Architecture segment of a web site. When larger teams get together, we take over Kelly's painting studio in Wicker Park. Of course, this model allows us to "pass the savings along to you."

Q: Is Concrete Cloud a staffing firm like, say, Buzz Co., or e-staff?
A: No. We are a collective of individuals who have come together because of a shared love for the art of communication but have found shortcomings in the traditional agency model. Concrete Cloud is scalable and accessible, but structured to meet client needs with very little overhead. This is the way all design studios will be run in the future.

Q: Why would I want to work with you guys rather than an established design firm?
A: We believe that Concrete Cloud offers all of the benefits of a traditional design firm without some of the pitfalls inherent in typical brick and mortar situations. For starters, we have very little overhead as we all work from home. (Don't worry, we get dressed and comb our hair when meeting with others.) We don't suffer from the bureaucracy usually found in the traditional model. In the years that all of us worked at downtown agencies, we've learned that process has to be present, but it also needs to be lean and mean. Most importantly, all of us have spent many lifetimes doing this kind of work. We know our stuff.

Q: Who do I talk to when I want to start something up with Concrete Cloud?
A: E-mail or call Kelly Rickert: kelly@concretecloud.com, 312.771.1753
